Student Life at GFCS

Student life at GFCS is an enriching experience. The Institute encourages student participation in Physical Activities and Health. The GFCS Debating Society would promote and train students in iterative communications.

Student Life at GFCS:-

Student life at GFCS is an enriching experience. The Institute encourages student participation in Physical Activities and Health. These activities provide ample opportunities for students to bond over sports and develop and display their talents and to excel in competitions at various levels. We organize interdisciplinary completions in academics as well as sports and games which develop discipline and team work among students.

The fine arts association conducts both intra- and inter-college competitions in events such as classical, western and folk dance, music, choreography, dramatics, creative writing, photography, painting and rangoli. It also organizes the inter- college annual festival “Adibhuta” in association with the Student organizations.

Each department is headed by a CR (Class Representative) who serves as the representative of the students. Students engage in fruitful discussions in the formal manner by virtue of which they are learning the process of formal and informal communications, consensus building, negotiations, leadership and demission making and at the same time the students are getting smarter by way of knowing their rights and duties.

The college also has the facility of Student Councilors who are guiding students on variety of topics from career, academics, health & interpersonal relations. Such counseling sessions are major stress busters and the platform where candidates share and confront their internal fears and ambiguities related to various aspects of life.
